Jonah K (Jonah Kamphorst) is a multi-disciplinary creator specializing in visual art, electronic music and animation. Drawing on inspiration from mythology, nature and technology, her work explores themes of subculture, the supernatural and transgender identity.

 

Visual works - shown in Toronto, Brooklyn, UK and appearing on 

album covers, clothing, event posters and promotional materials. 

 

Electronic Music - releases on multiple Canadian and international labels and can be heard in several short films. For over a decade, Jonah has performed 

alongside many acclaimed artists, including Orphx, Biome, Deadbeat, Author, Beats Antique, Andrew (Android) Jones and Alex Grey.​

Jonah has curated and produced electronic music events in Canada as a leading member in the Suma, Dark Rooms and Spectrum collectives. She has worked as a Technical Production Consultant for the Toronto International Film Festival and as a professional animator for several network television series and music videos.
